San Diego is a vibrant city with a rich mixture of beach culture and developing new businesses. It is an excellent place to experience that downtown feel in the Gaslamp District, where you can grab a drink at a trendy bar or dance the night away one of its upscale clubs. On the coast, you can lie on one of its picturesque beaches and take in the color-splashed sunsets or ride bikes on the boardwalk of Mission Beach.

New restaurants are popping up every month and you can enjoy everything from delicious Italian in Little Italy to authentic Mexican in the boarder communities. If you are looking for a taste of the arts, head over to Balboa Park. Boasting numerous museums like the Museum of Man, Aerospace Museum, and the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center, you can explore the cosmos or marvel at mankind's beginnings. It also has beautiful architecture dating back to the Spanish colonial days and its many gardens contain roses, wildflowers, and native cacti.

If you are looking for family fun, Sea World is the perfect adventure in sea life and fun and games. Check out their daily Shamu show or ride on their new roller coaster. If your little ones are into Legos, Legoland in Carlsbad is a dream world where Legos really come alive. For history buffs, the Star of India in the Marina lets you step back in time and see what an old time ship looks like and the docked naval ships are a sight to behold. Just steps away is Seaport Village, kite shops; tee shirt stores, trinkets and treasures are interspersed with beautiful boats and ice cream shops. Old Town lets you step into the vibrant Mexican culture and taste traditional foods and see hand-made artifacts.

There is also a little known African history museum where you can be guided through traditional African history, dress, photos, and archives. For those looking for outdoor exploration, Torrey Pines is a great place to stretch your legs and hike the trails that overlook the ocean on the high sea cliffs. Rock climbing is a favorite activity whether it's in a gym like Solid Rock or up in the mountains. Surfing or paddle boarding is another favorite at La Jolla shores. Their coves and blue tinted surf are a delight on a peaceful day at the beach. Sun, surf, sand, and smiles will always distinguish San Diego as one of America's finest cities. In sunny San Diego, there is plenty to do and see, so come play and soak up the rays at one of our local beaches where the weather is always just right.
